Surrounded by high mountains and fantastic trekking routes in every direction, Mountain Quail Lodge offers the perfect base for one to explore pristine mountain wilderness in its most true sense.

We organize treks ranging from 02 days - 02 nights to 05 days - 05 nights. The routes we operate on are in complete wilderness. Trekking through Oak, Rhododendron, Pine and Deodar forests and reaching a maximum altitude of 9,000 ft amsl, these forests are home to Leopards, Himalayan Black Bear, Deer, Mountain Goat and over 350 species of birds! In the right season one can see the entire Uttarakhand Himalaya range, consisting of peaks such as Chaukhamba (7138m), Trishul (7120m), Nanda Devi (7816m), Panchachuli (6904m), as well as a few peaks in Nepal such as Api and Nampa.

Many of the routes we operate on have been discovered by us over years of exploring the Kumaon Himalaya. Our Guides have over 15 years of experience in the field and are trained and certified Mountaineers, First aiders and have a brilliant eye for spotting wildlife and birds.
