We have a total of seven rooms and two safari tents at Mountain Quail Lodge. The rooms are divided between The Cottage and Log Cabins and are named after birds that are most commonly seen around our area! All our accommodation has attached bathrooms with running hot water. They are surrounded by trees and have views of the forest and mountains all around.
The Cottage sits at the highest point of our property and commands beautiful views of the hills and forest around. They were the first rooms to be built at Mountain Quail Lodge. It has four rooms, three on the first floor which share a common living space and one room on the ground floor. It is ideal for a group of friends or families who want to be next to each other. All rooms have bukhari’s to keep you warm in the winter months.
We have three log cabins surrounded by Oak and Chestnut trees. They are the newest addition to our lodge. Each cabin has an attic with a queen sized mattress, an all-time favourite for children. Sip your morning tea and watch a variety of birds chirping around you. All log cabins have bukhari’s as well.
We have two safari tents that have twin beds and an attached bathroom. They are basic but very comfortable, ideal for those who want to be closer to nature or are on a budget trip.
An option for the slightly more adventurous folk! We at Mountain Quail Lodge love camping! In fact that is how we lived here before any rooms were built. We have flat grounds situated with great views of the hills where one can pitch their own tents. Meals are served in the dining hall, we do not allow DIY cooking inside the property as it could it be a slight hazard for all. We have separate toilets with showers and WC toilets which can be used while you’re camping out, unless you prefer going out in the wild!
